Ken's Poem
By Fran Watson        [Hits: 15361]

How wonderfully sweet to be a dweller

\r

dwelling on the road of goodbye.

\r

Bittersweet tears fall as I think

\r

of all the places IĄŻll never see,

\r

all the faces IĄŻll never know,

\r

all the joys IĄŻll never share,

\r

as I head for the unknown.

\r

I have lived life as best I could,

\r

met challenges head on,

\r

drawing strength from an unseen source.

\r

You cannot come with me on this journey

\r

you can only stand and watch,

\r

sometimes the more difficult task.

\r

I know what I must do

\r

and I will give myself a voice

\r

drawn from the inward depths of my being.

\r
