Lenis Guess born inNorfolk Virginia; Lenis Guess have lived in New York City forthe past 25 years, He completed his first Rhythm and Blues Albumentitled " I Can't Leave Your Love Alone, Working for my babyand also two gospel CD's entitled, " Thinking About Jesus" and"Spiritual Warfare." He has also produced a cable T.V. showcalled " Spirit Train, and five musical plays of Broadway.
Lenis Guess Production has sustained itself with the artisticcontributions of various masters Musicians an vocalist. It isimperative to give back and plant new seeds in media andentertainment. Our primary objective has been to resurrect thoseexponents who have been instrumental during the inception ofthis genre of music, called Rhythm and Blues and imparttechnical and historical food for thought to the students andrecipients. In short we are a viable cultural organization withthe purpose of helping adults and youths find positive vehicleof expressions through instrumental music and voice, song anddance.
Lenis Guess Production is a media service enterprise of manytalented individuals, from business brokers, that has combinedtheir knowledge to give new artist and name talent direction andgoals of achievement, as we move forward to supply vendors withthere needs of quality Lenis Guess Production are individualswith visionary ideals in the Globally setting of this time.Efficiency and productivity, as we work to full the void in themedia communication gap of artistic combing all efforts togetherin programming a flexibility relationship with multiple vendors.Our organization is not just a source of media, but acombination of humanity to mankind. Our sources will grouptogether in fund raising to give by to society worldwide. Ourprogram is designed to initiate and develop in our community toenhance the up lifting of our youth. This will give them theopportunity to express themselves through the vehicle ofperforming and developing through expression and enhance theireducational goals.
Lenis Guess was born Feb 27 1940 in Virginia, Owner of "LenisGuess Production" self taught musician and vocalist. , Hecompleted his first Rhythm and Blues Album entitled " I Can'tLeave Your Love Alone, and also two gospel CD's entitled, "Thinking About Jesus" and" Spiritual Warfare." He has alsoproduced a Cable T.V. show called " Spirit Train, and fivemusical plays on Broadway.
Lenis was already entertaining his family; impression of AlJohnson; by the age of five; Lenis was singing harmony on thestreet corners with his friends. Songs made by popular groupssuch as the Moon Glows, Drifters, Flamingos, and Spaniels. Lenisat the age of seventeen joined a vocal group and was enteringtalent shows, Inspired by their winning; he decided to pursue arecording career. Lenis at the age of seventeen he wrote andrecorded a record named " Crawling By The Blue Beards; He thenmet Mr. Frank Guida who wanted to sign Lenis to a long termcontract, but at the time Lenis was still in school, so hiscareer was put on hold.
Lenis spent most of his time writing songs; during this periodhe met Kenneth Deal A recording Artist who love his songs anddecided to introduce him to George Perkins a club owner; thiswas his break they all joined together; the name of the RecordCompany was D.P.G. Records; Where Deal Recorded a single named "What Have You Heard", B/W Clown Suit; Business took to theworse, when Kenneth was killed in a Car accident about a yearlater Lenis and Perking recorded another one of Lenis song "Thank Goodness" it became a local hit and started his career,Lenis has also song with Gary US Bonds and many historicalfigures.
Lenis continued to grow he then rejoined Mr. Frank Guida torecord a song that they wrote together called " Working For MyBaby which climbed the charts to #2 on station WGH and #3 onstation WNOR and was played on Dick Clark American Band Stand,which started him to getting bookings in clubs and schools..Lenis was also Guest performer at Station WRAP Music Awards atChryslers Hall; where he was voted best male vocalist of theyear. Lenis met Dorsey Brockington a gifted engineer and thenstarted a recording Studio together called Brocking and Guess.Lenis had another hit on his Guess Record Label called " I keepComing back for more; he also got major record deals withPolydor Records and Brunswick Records.
