Laminate Flooring
In this marerial we are going to talk about the laminateflooring. This is a material that is created in such a way thatit looks like a normal wood flooring. This material is syntheticand it can be made of syntehetics or combinations of syntheticswith some ntural ingredients. The whole material is in the endtopped with a decorative applique. The most popular laminatepatterns are the wood ones. It is considered to be the bestchoice for rooms where real wood is impossible to be used. Thecolors are very natural and also quite varied, imitating eventhe different species of wood. The laminate flooring can also beof the same style as the wood ones, such as strip, plank orparquet. An important thing to mention here is the fact that thelaminate is designed to be more efficient, being able to facemoisture much better than any natural wood floor. This isamazing for the ones who always wanted a wooded floor in placeslike the bathroom, but were discouraged because the wood'sfrailty to water.
We are now going to make a brief presentation of the companythat is probably the number one brand name in what lminateflooring is concerned, and that is Prego. There is quite afierce competition on the market today, as there is a largenumber of companies that provide this product. The special thingabout Prego is that it offers the most complex variety ofpatterns and, of course, the composition of its materials thatare made of an original composite of layers.
The massive part of the laminate flooring is made of awater-resistant material whose purpose is to provide evennessand dimensional stability. All this material is covering a layerof polymer paper. This material is used because it helps to thestability of the entire floor, but also because it is able toadjust to the temperature and humidity levels that areconstantly changing in a house. The covering layer is only adecorative one. The Prego top layer is a little more specialbecause it is made of a three-layer combination of materials, such as the cellulose paper combined with melamine resins andalso with a heat resistant base layer. What makes Prego'smaterials harder with 25 % than other brands' products, is thefact that the Prego specialists also use hardeners whilecreating the combinations. The finite prouct is commercializedas planks and panels of different patterns such as wood, tileand even stone.
